I'm calling on Conwy Council to support local businesses by introducing free parking county-wide.

As the county of Conwy is now in local lockdown, local businesses need as much support as possible to survive.

I would like to see Conwy County Borough Council follow the lead of other local authorities in Wales, like Gwynedd and Ceredigion, and introduce free parking at all of the Council's car parks. I would like to see free parking introduced county-wide from now until at least the new year.

I believe this will help support our already hard-hit businesses in the county, and would be an effective yet inexpensive way of the Council supporting our businesses. Making parking free until at least the new year will also help local businesses attract the Christmas shopping rush too.
